Results for previous years

Sunday, April 15th starting at 7:30 AM will be the beginning of the 2012 NWCC Club TT series. The venue will again be Warren Ranch Road. Please note that we will be starting promptly at 7:30. No rider will be started after 8:00 due to traffic and safety concerns.

As with past years, we will be timing the individual efforts of each participant and posting the results on the club’s website. This year, we will use electronic chip timing. The rental for timing chips will be covered by the club. You will receive your chip when you register at Zube Park, and it will be retrieved after you cross the finish line.

We will also have LIVE TIMING on your smart phone. Results are shown immediately as each entrant crosses the finish line. You will need to download the Race Monitor application, available for iPhone, Android, and Windows phones, for a one-time cost of $4.99.

Registration

Registration will be at Zube Park which is about 2 miles from the TT start. Registration will begin as soon as they unlock the park gates, hopefully about 6:45 am, and will close promptly at 7:15 am. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE TAKEN AT THE START/FINISH LINE. Registration will be limited to 30 entrants.

All participants must sign a waiver. You may download it, sign it in advance and bring it with you, or sign it on-site. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their parents sign. You may download it and have them sign it in advance if they will not be at the event.

Download RELEASE WAIVER here.

Course

The gmap link below outlines the 10 mile Warren Ranch Rd course. The 10 k course will be an abbreviated version of this venue.

Special Rules Regarding Club Racer TT Competition Scoring

The scoring for the Club Competition this year will be borrowing a methodology similar to that used by the Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association (TMBRA). The best 4 of the 6 races will count to determine the overall standings by year end. Points are tallied based on the riders' finish order at each individual race.

Points are awarded in the following manner:

Place Points
1st 10
2nd 8
3rd 6
4th 4
5th 2
6th

1

If a tie exists for an overall class at the end of the series, the following rule will be used the number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, finishes... until tie is broken.
